What is your favorite show that takes place in college?

(Community also had me thinking about this.)

Can also be books or movies or whatever, btw.

With this in mind, again, I've only read the first book, but I liked The Ivy. It's soapy and stupid and dramatic as Hell, but I really enjoyed reading it. I was also 17 or 18 at the time. I recently got the second book for Christmas, but I'd have to reread the first to remember everything that happened, so I'll get around to it whenever I get around to it- see if it holds up at all.

Community, obviously, but while I've only seen the first season, I really liked ABC Family's Greek.

Not college-specific, but I liked the parts of Buffy that explored college life.

The episode where the Wicca Club was 99.9% "BAKE SALE!" rang so true for me. I didn't think take it as commentary on Wicca, I took it as commentary on how fruitless student activities can end up being. This was pretty much one I joined - like Willow I was so excited, then realized we basically just had bake sales and that was it.

Yup. That's how I feel about my school's human rights group. And the similar group at my undergraduate school too. All talk and fundraiser things like movie nights and no actual activism.

Ugh, that really sucks for a human right's/activism group. :/ I understand the need for funding, but there's also things you can do without needing it.

The later seasons of Buffy! That is the only one I can think of.

Community wins by virtue of being the only show I like that takes place in college.

A Different World. That's the only college-based show that I like (I couldn't stand the after high school years of Buffy).

Yay, me too!

That show was the only tempate I had for what college was likje until I actually went myself.
