I love my boyfriend and am glad he lives with me now. But sometimes I miss living alone.

I don't find that terrible at all. Not sure how long he's been living with you, but if it isn't long...well, it takes time to adjust, and sometimes you need alone time and personal space.

Thank you. He's been here a few months, which is still in the adjustment phase. It's just hard to get real alone time, like you said. Part of me feels like I should be like OMGSUPERHAPPYWHEEEEE that he's here with me, or that living with a partner should be old hat.

But I guess it's okay if it's not just yet.

Don't worry, that's normal. I've been living with my SO for eight years now and sometimes I still miss living alone sometimes, even though I love him and I'm more than happy to have him here.
