(Anonymous) 2015-04-07 02:50 am (UTC)(link)I joke, but the truth is we're all good at different things. Maybe you're making the wrong comparisons because you never don't see what you're good at. Or maybe you had bad teachers.
Maybe you just have to find your own strengths, and your developmental level so you can learn things properly. I had a really bad time in school, which led me to being really messed up as an adult.
In my late twenties, sometimes I felt like a dog my grandparents kept around, really. I slowly got past that, but I'll probably die before I make it to anything like normative functional middle-class adult. But I know I'm human (well, human-passing) now, just really socially stunted.
