Wolverine isn't upset by Kamala's fanfic of him, he's far more upset that Cyclops/Emma fanfic gets more hits than his.

Save your love for G. Willow Wilson -- that bit's canon. (Ms. Marvel issue #6, where Kamala and Wolverine team up and she tells him how her Wolverine-and-Storm in space fanfic was quite popular -- though not as popular as the fanfic about Cyclops and Emma's romantic Paris vacation.)

OK, I'm not familiar with the character, but maybe it's meant more as a nod to the way many fans probably also read/write Avengers fanfic, than an endorsement of RPF itself?

This secret so confused me because I thought Kamala was the name of the writer/creator first.

But no yeah I get it now. She's writing RPF about her co-workers. Ugh. Even if it's not sexual fic, that's creepy, and if she posts it publicly, really inappropriate. I get that it's a nod to the fans writing fanfic, but along the line it's been turned horribly wrong. You can't compare writing fic about fictional characters to writing fic about your coworkers, even more so if you leave it where they can find it.

On the other hand, I really like the way she's drawn. Guess I'm conflicted now too.

Technically speaking, they're not exactly co-workers? Not as far as I've read yet, anyway.

She seems to have written most or all of her fanfic before even getting super powers, much less meeting up with any other heroes. And she's not a member of any team yet, though it looks like she will be soon, so technically it's a stretch to call anyone her co-workers.
