Since when was there an abundance of canon slash romances? Especially enough to be considered boring?

Slash ships aren't spoon fed, they are pure fandom interpretation. Het ships are actually pushed as something romantic and canon. They are usually cliche and in a lot of cases have no chemistry.

You sound bitter. I get the feeling you simply resent het ships being canon instead of your slash ships and that has nothing to do with how that het ship is written since you are putting them all in the same box.

This comment would seem to suggest that you think anything that's canon is "spoon fed."

I wonder: in things where there are canon slash ships, do you reject them? Do you just ship whatever's purely canon, becauseyou've convinced yourself that's always better?
