Where have you been all my life? I ship Mako/Korra and I so want fic that rewrites season 2 to 4

Honestly? Just pretend the last five minutes of Korra didn't happen and it's pretty much Makorra anyway. I still think it's hilarious that they only showed Mako's reaction to Korra's maybe death and didn't show Korra at all when Asami almost died. Asami was pretty much a prop in s4.
