DA - I read a blog post somewhere on the interwebs about how most of the other FBI agents carry these reasonable sort of guns, and Reid wanders around with something that would probably break his wrist if he tried to fire it. It seems like another form of overcompensation, like the insistence on being called "Dr."

Nerd alert here, but Reid always being called Doctor was something that Gideon started because he thought it would make the scrawny 20-something seem more authoritative to people they interviewed. So I'm not sure that one can be blamed on Reid.

Unless he's thrown a tantrum over it since I stopped watching.
