I think I dress well but I'm not fashionable. I like nice clothes, but I do not follow the whims of the fashion du jour.

I...can be, though my style [when I bother to do anything beyond jeans/t-shirt] tends more towards classics than what's in style that moment.

I don't usually know what fashion is most of the time. I have pretty specific tastes in clothing (solid colours, simple shapes, no dangly bits or flouncy bits, no mesh/netting because I hate the feel of it), and I usually look pretty good in it, so 'fashionable' is kind of irrelevant to me.

No. I have my own distinct sense of style, but it almost never meshes well with what's currently fashionable. I often make my own jewelry and if I had the time I'd make my own clothes too.

The most fashionable clothes I have are my PJs.

I think I have fashionable taste but I don't actually shop according to it? If I had the time, money, and willingness to get up an hour early... sure. But in reality I dress like a lazy, maybe slutty, poor person masquerading as a hipster.

Trying to pass untamed curls as styled bedhead. Lots of oversized hand-me-downs/garage sale find t-shirts, tank tops, and blazers paired with borderline inappropriate shorts or skirts and an oversized hoodie. Any cleavage is incidental to the wearing of oversized tanktops. Glasses, eyeliner if I'm going out with the boyfriend, and randomly themed stud earrings are my only accessories.

Oh and my wardrobe is fifty shades of grey with a handful of colorful tanktops or nerdy t-shirts I bought to try to spice it up.

Uh, I don't find myself unfashionable, but I have no idea if anyone else would consider me fashionable.

I've been told my hair is pretty (which is insane as I do jack shit but wash and comb it and it gets frizzy easily) and that my makeup game is strong (maybe I've been lied too, lol), but I feel like my clothing choices tend to be rather simple.

My best friend held an intervention to make me stop buying all my clothes from the cheap menswear places. There was a powerpoint with photos of me when I dress myself vs. me when she dresses me.

I think it was meant to shame me, but I was just sitting there thinking "hey I look way more relaxed and comfortable in my regular clothes."

not particularly, but not really slobby/unfashionable either. the catch is with my current lifestyle, I dress casually to go out maaaaybe once a week - I wear scrubs to work, and sweats/tanks/whatever at home. If I'm going to go run errands or something I'm usually not gonna bother to put on anything requiring more effort than it takes to find something that's not smelly or ratty-looking - i.e. usually whatever sweats I'm currently wearing are fine.

Nope. I've said it before: I'd be okay with a dystopian Utilitarian Smock, provided it was comfortable. (I think jeans/t-shirt if warm, jeans/t-shirt+hoodie if cold is my Utilitarian Smock, honestly.)

Seriously though being fashionable seems to be about being as uncomfortable as possible. Especially the shoes. And constantly buying clothes, which is money I could be spending on things I give a shit about.
