A part of me feels bad for the fans because losing a member CAN potentially 'ruin' things. As a fan of a group who's gone from nine to four over their ten year career (and the last loss was the two 'most popular' members), it was difficult waiting and wondering whether they were just going to dissolve or carry on--which thankfully they did.

However, the extreme reactions over it are just that, extreme, and kind of having me side-eyeing a little.
