Re: Ugly people in your family?
I take after my dad's side more, though, appearance-wise (and in a lot of other ways as well), and my paternal grandmother was quite pretty, but didn't take care of herself as well as she could have. (My memories are a bit biased since she was mentally ill for most of my life that I really remember her.)
Now I feel kind of like a jerk for saying that. She was a lovely person and I would like to be like her in many ways - I never thought that much about how she looked, tbh.
