Re: FS Pet Peeves
(Anonymous) 2015-04-10 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)-The phrase "secret for obvious reasons". Dumb. Most of the time the "obvious reason" is "I feel I would be utterly persecuted in fandom for this because my opinion is a little different than the clueless masses"
-Secrets that are in no way secrets, and just blatant attempts at starting conversations. Especially when it's so obvious the secret isn't actually something the maker agrees with, they're just trying to get people on their sides. (usually obvious because the secret is too detailed or outrageous)
-Personal pet peeve are secrets that aren't things I personally consider "fandom" - like celebrities and so forth. that's a matter of opinion I guess though, but I personally see it as involving a creation which is fanned over (?) and not just being a fan of an individual.
