When people laugh at OPs for having opinions about old things. (Though I am sure innocent comments that were just noting that the secrets took them back are mistaken for this.) Not everyone got into everything as it was out, and actually, the older something is, the more likely it is that more new fans have emerged.

I would do it if the opinion being expressed happens to be wanky. Some of us have PTSD from long ago wankfests and don't want any of it dredged up.
