That's the vibe I was getting from them, yes. (Which isn't always my thing, but in this case... it just worked. Doesn't hurt that they're both pretty and I'm shallow.)

I have no idea who necromancer is (but oh, the pain of liking a character who gets next to no screentime), but since you've reminded me of this anime's existence I'm going to try to watch it.

Necromancer actually does get a fair amount of screentime, but no she doesn't develop much. I don't think she's a character that really NEEDED development though, if that makes sense?

Jeanne D'Arc definitely could have used more development near the end though.

As for Favaro and Kaiser, I think there's not much of any hate left by the end of the series. They're still bickery with each other, but they're genuine friends.

Hmm, is Necromancer the antagonist? With a name like that I assume they are, but maybe I'm wrong. I do understand what you mean though. I often think the most interesting characters grow and change, but it's perfectly possible to appreciate a character for who they are even if they don't have lots of stellar character development.

Aww, they sound cute! I eat up relationships where anger or hate turns to friendship and affection!

No, the necromancer (Rita) is actually one of the protagonists. She basically joins them out of boredom and frustration, and when she's fed up with their stupidity, she slaps them with her severed arm. She does get development in coming to like them and trying to protect them, but the series focuses on Favaro's relationships with Kaisar and Amira, so she gets left out a bit.

Okay, this sounds hilarious. (Sometimes this sort of thing bothers me, but it depends on the series and context. Slapping someone with your severed arm is way better than slapping them with your hand, though.)

Basically what anon already said. To add to that she also comes into the series several episodes in, so she really doesn't have the chance to get the same amount of screentime. I ended up loving her a lot though.

They are really cute. It's a very likable cast on the whole.

Ah, that's too bad. And this series is already finished and not getting a second season? (I think?)

Guess there's always fanfic... (If anyone has written fanfic for this series. I'm hoping they have.)
