(Anonymous) 2015-04-11 01:54 am (UTC)(link)Text: Fandom’s obsession with filming spoilers and finding out what’s going to happen weeks before an episode or a movie comes out is starting to drive me up the wall. I know this isn’t a new phenomenon. But it’s really starting to bother me. I feel like the only person left who likes to be surprised about what’s happening, who likes to be blindsided by “the feels” or whatever.
Most people I follow are good about tagging spoilers, and I appreciate it immensely. It’s the subtle hints that drive me up the wall. You think you’re being sneaky with your references, but the rest of us have been around the block before. We know what you mean when you post these gifs, or comment in this way in the tags.
TLDR; anon wishes there was a way to enjoy fandom while avoiding all the spoiler hungry fans. (and frankly, the fandom brats who feel entitled to knowing spoilers and harass people on location) Anon knows this is the ay of the world. Anon will continue blocking the best they can. Anon will sit here and be bitter until filming is over. :(
