I've had XKit for a while, and like it a lot. Something got kind of glitchy and a i sent an 'ask' or whatever to him to see about it. It's still glitchy, and i've never heard back. But yeah, yesterday the update, and then today this 'you have conflicting extensions (i really don't) warning.


So i dunno.

I feel bad about the ask i sent, not knowing about *any* of this. I never saw a peep about it on my tumblr.

I should probably check it out, since I keep hearing about it...But yeah, you and me both. From what I have seen on my dash, I suspect a *lot* of people didn't know about it prior to the past few days.

Either way, hopefully he's okay now.

I hope he is, too. What a damn mess. I get people being angry/upset at the idea of someone being a predator but - slightly more proof needed than a vague question on Tumblr, and why send hate and death threats and crap without actually knowing what's going on?

Meh. Mob rules.

Honestly? The cynic in me would say "Because this is tumblr where ~feels~ are the important thing, fact checking is for losers and anyone who dares to call out bad information gets bullied off the site." But that might just be the result of a particularly bad spate of mis-information I've seen recently.
