I think what kills it for me (even if I try and look past how fucked up and creepy their relationship is) is how Aria is when she's in a relationship with him. She prioritized him over her friends, was constantly centered on either herself or her relationship, etc. He brings out the absolute worst in her and she becomes really bad friend when she's with him.

Though honestly; do Ezria fan just put blinder on to season three and beyond plot? I mean the show outed him as a creepy stalker who put her and the girls safety aside for his own profit (the book). He dated Ali before Aria, and knew who she was when they met. Honest question, how do you overlook all that and still think they are a good couple?

Because he's not being a horrible creepy stalker now?

Ezra is a complex character, someone who is not inherently evil, but has made a lot of bad decisions for selfish reasons. Once he was outed, yes, he deserved to be shunned (I still think he deserves some jail time for all the camera planting).

Even if his reason for pursuing Aria was less than honorable, I think he truly did fall in love with her and cares for her as more than just some 'book source.' Plus, he's been pursuing A as well, and has been helpful to (not helping himself to) the girls once they started opening up more about A.

I'm not suggesting automatic forgiveness for anyone who does a bad thing, but IMO Ezra has been getting his shit together. I think he deserves a second chance. I probably won't feel that way if he starts giving off the creepy vibes again, but I honestly believe he can be redeemed.
