I am on the third episode and I want to like it. I really, really do. I love the comic. But the leads are so off and stiff. Cox is too stiff to play an blue color, Irish American from Hell's Kitchen. And I hate his line delivery of "says one sentence in a monotone voice * pause* says another sentence in a monotone voice * pause* rinse and repeat." Ugh. Matt is a New Yorker! New Yorkers aren't like that. I'd rather he play it over the top than under playing it as he is doing it here. He has no chemistry with Elden Hensen. Foggy and Matt are supposed to be best friends. All I am getting from their scenes are, these are two actors doing a scene.

And the directing is driving me nuts. One moment, the camera is locked down and the next it's like someone shoved it into the hands of someone having a seizure.

Does it get any better?

I'm so...the opposite of you. I've seen two episodes abd I love, love, love the characters. Even bloody Foggy Nelson.

But Cox's acting! THAT ACTING!!!! Stop the monotone pause monotone!!!!!!!!!!

Foggy was so so gooooood.

Also that hallway fight in episode 2!!! HOLY SHIT THAT WAS GOOD.

Yeah, seriously I can't believe I want to squee about him of all things!

General Talk
-Why are there so many blind ninjas in this show? I've never seen one but this show has three (that I remember).
-How do Murdock's powers work? I get how he can tell the location and such with things that move. Or even things that are three-dimensional. But how can he tell where/what non-moving, flat objects are.
+How is he super fact and agile?
-I am NOT a fan of Fisk. He is an okay villain. But I really hate the way he talks. I guess it fits in the other MCU villains and their convulated way of talking.
-I love all the side villains we see. They are all so dastardly.
-Really enjoying Murdock's tight outfit. Yeah, that is what I am here for!

SPOILERS
-How does this show tie in with the MCU? They have mentioned Thor and Iron Man. Is the huge theme of "masked vigilantes are bad" going to tie into Captain America: Civil War?
-I don't really understand what Vanessa sees in Fisk. He is not good looking and his personality sucks.
-I totally ship Claire/Matt. I really hope we don't have to deal with Karen pining after Matt (at least it looks like she is).
-I don't understand why Fisk is killing all the secondary villains. Is he just a paranoid, ass? Anyways, I really liked Vladimir and wish he had been around longer.
-Almost done with episode 11, Karen is really annoying me.

Well, the lead is a blind ninja. That's the show where you'll find them all xD His mentor being blind makes total sense, imo.

Ok... This is a little tricky. It's called a radar sense and it's said to work kinda like echolocation. So he can pinpoint things around him... Current comic run has a great way to portray it. Google images for daredevil radar sense.

It is in the MCU and your idea about Civil War makes sense but we were told the conflict comes from the next Avengers movie, so maybe not.

Really? I'm really buying their relationship. Vanessa sure is ambitious.

I looked up the radar and I still don't get how he can see flat stuff. Or maybe he can't and I just got confused. But I thought he was able to see what was on paper.

Hrm. I wonder what will happen in The Avengers for that. I guess I will find out May 3rd!

I finished the series! With 2 hours to spare before Game of Thrones.

Ohhh that's what you meant by seeing flat things - sorry, I misunderstood you. No, he can't see what's on paper or a screen or printed on a shirt - unless he can read the paper with his fingers as if it were braille. He can only see the outline of objects.

Have not actually seen this yet but will since I realized Steven DeKnight (Spartacus) is in on it. Now I'm kind of excited.
