I may not like David Gaider all that much and he should have known what he was getting into when he willingly chose to interact with the DA fandom on Tumblr... but ngl, I kinda felt just a little sorry for him when I learned why he was leaving/deleting his blog.

And yeah, I'd say it's a 50/50 chance, seeing as some extremely vocal people apparently ran one of the writers off of Tumblr over something (I think it had something to do with gems and food? I keep hearing conflicting accounts of what exactly started it), so it's not like the precedent isn't set already. But let's hope it never does happen, imo.

This wasn't Gaider's first experience interacting with fans. Dude knew damn well what he was getting into, but people act like he was a fresh-faced young ingenue whose hopes and dreams were crushed by evil Tumblrinas. He played with the trolls until it stopped being fun, and then he absconded, same as he did on BSN.

Yeah, hence why I said I "kinda felt just a little sorry", haha. As far as I'm concerned, Gaider largely brought that on by himself. I just don't know if he was honestly convinced the fandom on Tumblr would be different than the BSN (seeing as BSN is more dudebro-y whereas Tumblr is heavy on social justice) or what...
