2001. Try as I might, I still fucking hate the ending in that weird room.

The movie should've ended at the part with Bowman in the pod going through the stargate and the screen keeps flashing his horrified expression.

Ah.

I...honestly don't like 2001 at all, much as I wish I did. :-/ It's just so...tedious to me.

It's a slow-paced movie, which I think is fitting with the space setting (given that space travel IRL tends to be slow and deliberate.) I like it, but I still hate the ending.

I like Full Metal Jacket and especially Dr. Strangelove, though.

Well, you know, it's strange, because I generally enjoy slow-paced movies. This one, however, just didn't do it for me.

I do agree on Full Metal Jacket (somehow haven't seen Dr. Strangelove yet. I should fix that).

The book is just as painfully boring as the movie. Clarke's other books are better.
