That used to be one of the most fiendish games ever, it is right up there with the Discworld game for unsolvability. They are both so much fun though.

I loved this game. Just getting that babble fish into your ear was an adventure.

I'm not sure I ever got much further than that in it but I used to love it anyway.

Oh, I loved this game. I never finished it, either.

I too loved this game. I always got stuck on the Heart of Gold at the part where you had to have Tea and No Tea at the same time. And I still to this day want The Thing Your Aunt Gave You. It would be so useful!

Text: I still think this is the greatest computer game of all time.

even though I never managed to finish it before the internet and walkthroughs

I played and loved this game when I was a kid -- but I was utterly dependent on the InvisiClues booklet my grandmother gave me as a gift along with the game.

This may have been one of the things that got me far too addicted to playing games with a FAQ beside me, because I'm afraid of wasting time or missing something I can't go back to get. ("Marvin wants me to meet him there with the toothbrush. Sure, I'll just... oh, no, did I forget to pick that up back at the start of the game?!?")

I actually think Bureaucracy ended up amusing me more, but that could be because I played it when I was a bit older and could get more of the jokes, instead of just nodding along to the strangeness.

oh man, playing that game as a kid could leave you game-paranoid for the rest of your life. always wondering if you needed to pick up the pile of mail at the exact right moment and now it's gone forever.
