Well, most of the time professional porn actors aren't really into each other. They usually just met that day and are there to collect a paycheck, and directors direct scenes based on what they think their target audiences want to see. ...It's depressing how much porn simply follows a formula because of that reason.

This is less likely with amateur or niche actors, especially if it's just couples filming themselves for fun and profit.

On the other hand, there's a lot of call for lesbian actresses to kiss because it's what the audience wants, ostensibly. Really what happens in porn is what's directed to happen in porn, not what the actors would normally do if they were left to their own devices.

I have to assume it's because directors assume that cisgendered straight men make up the majority audience for hetero and lesbian porn (however true that may actually be), and the stereotype is that men want to see two women kiss.
And when it's a man and a woman they apparently assume men just want to see a bunch of mechanical dick sucking and vaginal sex in 3-6 different positions followed by a facial.

That's total bullshit and the main reason I almost never watch professional hetero porn, but there you go.
