But then he would randomly pop up in your life, dressed up as different characters.

I feel like this wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

It would be weird. You're on the beach and the hot dog vendor is your grandad. You are at a black tie affair and your grandad has two ladies hanging on his arms and some rich guy mistakenly calls him, "Hef." You are at the library and fight breaks out between a superhero and a villain but there is your granddad on headphones completely oblivious to what is happening behind him as he pushes a book cart around him.

I think the idea would be better than the reality. He seems a little self-involved. Not necessarily in a bad or mean way but he'd be tooting his own horn all the time.

I had an older aunt that I thought was the coolest when I was little. She would ask all about my interests. The thing was, she worked with kids and was using me to find stuff to talk to other kids for work. Once I was too old for that, she didn't bother any more to ask me about me. As she's gotten older, she's become even more self-involved to the point she never spoke of anything that didn't involve herself. I don't mind talking about her but it would be nice to have some reciprocity. I find, though, that it's common among the older people I know: they're all self-centered (and don't even realize it).

So, from his interviews and stuff, he's always ready to talk about his own accomplishments but he seems a bit defensive about some of the unfair things that happened to other creators back in the day.

I would like to talk about his WW2 days personally.

I used to like Stan a lot when all I knew him for was his random pop ups in MCU, but after reading some of his interviews I have to say I don't now. He comes off as somewhat misogynist and stuck in his ways (against how canon characters have been made another race or gender in the comics). I gte his old, but I don't get why Marvel let's him be a mouth piece if she says some dated foot-in-mouth stuff.

Image: Stan Lee, in a crowd of running people (I think it’s his cameo in The Avengers?

Text: I wish he were my granddad. Even more so because both of mine died when I was still little.

It is from his cameo in Spider-Man (2002).
