Orange? That is illegal round here.

Do I want to Google that, or can someone explain?

Bitter orange is often used as a weight loss supplement, but supposedly has deleterious effects on blood pressure and heart rate according to some studies. Because this supplement, like many pseudoephedrine-like compounds, can increase risk of heart attack, it is banned in some states.

AYRT

Top kek, that's way tamer than I was expecting. So, bitter orange is basically speed that makes you lose weight? B/c pseudephedrine/Sudafed is basically speed that lets you breathe, when you can't.

Well with both supplements people have either developed heart problems or exacerbated existing conditions while using them, and in one case it has lead to someone's death. So... I don't know if it's really a laughing matter.

Bitter Orange is a Glaswegian/Lanarkshire insult inferring that an individual is both misguidedly supporting Rangers Soccer Team and is also a Radical Northern Irish Unionist Terrorist Supporter. The sectarian implication of calling someone a Bitter Orange means that in Scotland it is illegal under anti-sectarianist legislation.

Or the weight supplement thing.
