Ugh, I hate knowing this, but there's more ways to find something out than having their name [plus, there are sites that do collect and post that information online that you probably won't find in goggle searches if you're just looking for your name.]

www.pipl.com is one. I don't recall the others, offhand, but Pipl will definitely link unlinked accounts to your real name, if you're not scrupulous.

Best thing to do is check yourself out, then. Though 99.999% of people have nothing to worry about, unless and until they say something that irks the Twitter mob enough to get them fired. The other .001% are impossible to find for very concrete reasons. Sometimes legit reasons, sometimes not-so-legit reasons. The vast majority in the middle of those two extremes are morons, however, and post their whole lives on Failbook or somesuch.

Interesting. I found my real name, in a host of other real names (it's not super-unique), but the sites where the info comes from puzzle me. I understand one, because it was a 'unclaimed govt. money' search thing (they owed us 37 bucks!!) but not the other ones. Check cashing sites, maybe? Something like that?

Very odd.

but nothing that links me to my fandom name, or vice-versa. Helps that my FB is *not* my real name.

Spokeo. Spokeo is FUCKING CREEPY. It had a few of our old addresses, and our younger brother's, accurately. Took me an ass and a half to clear the damn thing too.
