I don't think anyone is comfortable with it, tbh. Even if they claim to be.

I'm not comfortable with it. I find the idea terrifying at the worst and not worth thinking about at best.

But, since there's not much to be done about reality, I find the best thing to do is just focus on the future and think about the next pet you might be able to have.
