Re: Stubborn malware

I checked the control panel and the only new programs since February are the aforementioned malware detector (installed yesterday) and a program that lets me save Audacity files as MP3 (installed a month ago, which I think is before the problem started, but I have a terrible sense of time and am not 100% sure). I'll try deleting the latter just in case. I'll go ahead and run another full system scan with my antivirus and if all else fails, yeah, I'll talk to my father the next time I see him. That won't be for at least a couple of weeks though.
