I've seen some people like this, and it's kind of sad, but not all yuri fans are that way. I say this as a sane one.

In my experience Yuri fans can be divided into three categories:

-Crazy lesbians who hate men with a burning passion
-Male yuri fans
-Lesbians and straight girls.

The first two groups are batshit insane and I wish they would fuck off. The third one is pretty nice.

My experience is the same and I just wish the first two groups weren't in the habit of invading all yuri-only spaces.

Women who hate men and men who fetishize female characters and also hate male characters who 'get in the way' are really what make yuri shipping an uncomfortable experience for me.

It's ridiculous how intense they can be about it, even in situations where there is no canon yuri.

I used to think yuri ships would never have ship wars with another yuri ship, but it happens a lot more than I thought.
