Yo this. But honestly yoai and het shippers really are worse imo. I mean say what you want about yuri fans but at least they stay in their fandoms and honestly they're not as bad as the overly-dramatic OP makes them out to be. In my current fandom, the het shippers of a certain paring are so damn annoying and obnoxious I can't stand it. They literally go out of their way to be ruin anybody's fun who doesn't ship their precious paring.

I think it tends to be very fandom specific. I have had fandoms where the yuri or femmeslash people were the WORST.

It's quite uncommon, though, because it's much rarer for women's relationships to one another to get the same focus as men's in media. So there's less yuri/femmeslash to begin with.

The secret doesn't apply to yuri fans in general, only to those of the sites OP browses.

Female yuri fans and male yuri fans are completely different. If the sites OP browses are full of male neckbeards fans obsessed with underage girls making out, I can understand the complains. They are a pain in the ass.

Yo, in more than half the fandoms I've been in, the femslash squadron was 100% the worst group as far as being total dicks to everyone about everything. And I mean everything. In one, you couldn't even be a fan of a certain male character without the fan-favorite femslash fans hunting you down over it.
