Actually, it's been 'DID' for over twenty years, and the 'debunking' mostly came from the False Memory Syndrome Foundation which is... well. Dubious. (TL;DR: they never came up with actual criteria for False Memory Syndrome, lied about the number of people who joined them, and generally are disingenuous.)

Unless you mean something different, in which case I'd love to hear about it!
