Not even necessarily personal or romantic love - aside from the conversations-in-your-head part, that sounds like how I feel about several fictional characters, cute animals, sunshine, my favourite tree, and several family members (maybe don't tell them I compared them to a tree, though). Things/people that just make me happy because they exist. Soulbonding to me implies something rather more intense. Binding part of your essence to someone seems a bit stronger to me than 'they make me happy'.
I don't know. How'd you make the connection?

(Anonymous) 2015-04-17 09:29 am (UTC)(link)However, when you say 'binding part of your essence to someone', that wording does sound a bit too much for how I feel, so you are most likely correct and this is not soulbonding -- just as well, because I imagine this would be a pretty awful character to soulbond to.
