Mook's only crime was never improving his art beyond being able to draw straight lines and being friends with the CAD guy. Other than that he always struck me as a pretty decent guy.

I don't have links to the comics in particular, but he wrote a storyline where a rapist was supposed to be a good guy, and another issue is that he has a offensive stereotype of a gay character. And also, his art never improved... :(

Without links or specifics it's hard to tell if you're being accurate when you label if "offensive" though. I didn't follow the comic much but I remember he had a bisexual character that met the "depraved bisexual" trope pretty well; but if that's the character you're talking about it's not super offensive iirc.

idk if it's the same character (it's been a while since I've read the Dominic Deegan mock threads), but this was a guy character with blonde hair. In one strip, he manages to get out a surprise attack from behind by an assassin. The assassin is surprised by this, and asks how the gay character how he managed to do that.

The gay character replies that he's good at doing everything from behind. Ba-dum-tish.

Basically every joke about that character was a joke about his sexuality.
