(Anonymous) 2015-04-17 05:14 am (UTC)(link)See, I’ve started to have a thing for this character a few months ago, nothing unusual - I crush on characters (never on the actors playing them, though) often and sometimes daydream of them, too - except these daydreams have become so intense that I had to start writing them down - a fanfiction of sorts. I doubt it’s the best thing I’ve ever written, but it gets the job done. Thn, I ‘ve started to feel a weird connection to this character, have conversations in my heas with them when my mind is idle, pictures/gifs of them give me war fuzzies, etc. They, in general, make me feel happier about the world.
I didn’t think much of it, but after reading about “souldbonding,” I feel slightly weirded out.
I should probably mention that I can hardly buy into this theory. I’m almost certain fictional characters are just fictional and that the only way I can have any sort of connection with them is by using me imagination.
But, still…I can’t help but wonder.
B!S Of all the characters I ever liked, it had to be this one I feel this inexplicable connection to…as a person, he has a very few, if any, redeemable qualities and I’m pretty sure I’d have a hard time putting up with him if he actually existed IRL. Still adore him, though…he’s as cute as a button and everything about him gives me happiness.
