The animated test footage was so hilarious and on point that I have a lot of hope for this one.

Granted, I don't know details...maybe if I did I would stop feeling this way, but this could be a fantastic film. If nothing else, I hope it's a fun romp and really want to see it.

The promotion has been so good.

And I think this is actually a case where that might be a legitimate reason for optimism? Because it's kind of evidence that they get what's going on and what Deadpool should look like. And that probably means I'll enjoy the movie even if it's kinda bad, tbh.

I hear you OP. I've been rewatching some of Ryan's movies on Netflix and all I can think is that he sounds/acts like Wade Wilson/Deadpool and that all those roles were leading up to this movie. I know I'm just setting myself up for disappointment...
