I've taken the Pottermore sorting quiz 13 times.

I took it four times. I got a different house each time. I'm pretty sure my personality and values put me squarely in one particular house, so I don't have much faith in it.

i took it three times because i was unhappy with my first result, but no luck. slytherin every time.

To be fair, that sounds like a pretty Slytherin response to me. :)

I sort of hoped I'd be placed in Slytherin, but I wasn't.

I only took it once. I'm not even going to bother taking it again because I think it's really stupidly set up. I've come to be somewhat proud of the House I did get, though (Hufflepuff).

The weird thing is in reality I identify strongly with some of the descriptors/characteristics of every single House and don't identify at all with others. Where would I even fit? lol

I don't think it's set up very well either but they probably didn't want it to go on for too long in case it put people off.

The length isn't what bothers me. They could have used the same number of questions and just made them questions that actually make sense.

I kind of feel like if the logic is too intuitive then there's no point to making it a quiz and you might as well have everyone sort themselves. They can just go through picking out whatever answer is obviously for the house they want for each question. I saw so many quizzes like that over the years and it took all the fun out of it.

I took it twice, because I felt guilty and not sure about being in Gryffindor the first time. I was sure I was Ravenclaw material.

The second time it gave me a choice between Slythern and Hufflepuff.

Mostly Hufflepuff. Two times Slytherin, two times Ravenclaw.

...Never once Gryffindor. :(

And also because I wanted to figure out how the questions worked. I have to say, it's a well designed quiz. You can't swing it.

I did it twice because I got Ravenclaw (then laughed a good five minutes about that because I would be the worst Ravenclaw ever. Would love for that house to suit me, but it doesn't).

Got Hufflepuff the second time, as it should be.

Were you trying to see which answers get you into what house?
