Re: Based on a r/l conversation about morals I had last week

Bits and pieces. I drifted away from some of theirs around uni years but they've drifted my way and we kind of align again. i.e. farm animal welfare, disability awareness, lgbti rights. They still have some catching up in my books but they've also got more years of views to move away from, being older and all. (still a little transphobic but I'm optimistic)

Most recently our ethics around aggressive dog attacks - although never discussed previously was surprised that we more or less align on our views there.

They're still religious although thankfully no longer fundie-religious. A more casual-christian-still-believe-but-relaxed-about-others-not-believing. Which is probably a good attitude to take when half your children turn out atheist.
