Re: Based on a r/l conversation about morals I had last week

I would say mine are broadly in tune with the general thrust, but we differ significantly in implementation. My mom and dad, and grandparents, are all of the general Bill and Ted philosophy, just they don't really do much introspection into not being assholes. Which sometimes leads them to accepting some Assholeish/Republican policy statements until someone explains the implications and outcomes of those policies in relatively simple language, then they tend to be appalled and wonder why the assholes in the policy unit wrote it in such weasel language so as to confuse people. Then they get angry, but don't really do anything political with their anger, which I do.
