Hrm. That's an interesting question. Not very similar to my dad at all, since he can be kind of a cynical prejudiced jerk. Basically similar to my mom - I think there's definitely some good traits I've picked up from her, and, you know, liberal and tolerant and all that. If there's one family member who's influenced me in terms of that kind of thing it's actually my uncle (my mother's younger brother, to be specific) - he's just someone who's very kind and accepting and who's just really good at listening to people, putting himself in their shoes, being generous about their faults and just calm and kind all of the time, and those are things I guess I've tried to emulate.
