The same thing we did on his vacation this time last year....

Install flooring!

Last year it was the kitchen and living room, this year it's our bedroom and bathroom. We're also installing a new sink in our bathroom.

I'm so damn ready to be rid of this ugly orange-ish/peach-ish carpet.

Handyman type websites. And YouTube videos. Seriously. I've learned so much from websites and YouTube. I've taught myself drywall, flooring, plumbing, and some basic electric from the Internet. A couple weeks ago I removed my garbage disposal and took apart the whole drain so I could snake the line and fix a really nasty clog.
