Desperate times...

I have been looking for a certain version of Hozier's Take Me To Church. One of the radio stations here plays it. I've contacted them but have gotten no response.

I am looking for a version of Take Me To Church that has a bit louder, more techno-y background. It isn't a remix (as far as I can tell). It is the same song but the background music has got more going on.

I CAN'T FIND A VERSION OF IT ANYWHERE. I am going crazy looking for this.

It is very frustrating because this one has been played on radio, so it has to be some kind of authorized version.

Well, now I've been trying to figure out what you listened to as it sounds right up my alley (that and a strictly instrumental version, but that's not the point). I found a bass boosted version that's not techno but emphasizes the percussion (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G54a281Wq1c). I'm not sure if that's what you heard, but the comment about the background music is what made me think of this. On that note, here I go down the rabbit hole of remixes on YouTube.
