Well,to be fair, GOT will probably spawn more roles for him than he'd have gotten without it.

This. Pretty much all his roles before GoT revolved around his height in some way(e.g. Miles Finch from Elf, one of the dwarves in Prince Caspian). He's starting to get blind cast in stuff now because people just love him for him.

I don't think his role in Knights of Badassdom was about his height. He was the hilarious ill-considered shrooms guy who also happened to be a dwarf.
