But at least the loading times are only when you go to the hub (or die). The whole world loads and runs smoothly throughout all other play.
Idk it has the intensity of Souls combat, but with the speed turned up several notches and the new gun element - I absolutely love it. And it creeped the shit out of me, which proper horror games stopped doing years ago.

Yeah, I guess it was either "have lags while the world keeps loading" or "wait a long time until things are done loading" but it was still pretty annoying.
Especially since I was only getting into it slowly (not too much of a fan of the camera, to be honest) and waiting about a minute every time I died was ... /teeth grinding.
It is deliciously creepy (especially the way you can hear some of the enemies before you ever see them, kind of set me on edge quite a bit) so I'll probably try again sometime.
