Trying to buy products that aren't tested on animals. It's not going to stop anyone testing anything, and I don't tell anyone I make the effort. But it makes me feel better to do it when I can.

Does your ban extend to areas of medicine that were established via animal testing?

Me, too.

One person may not make a difference, but the more people who do it, the bigger the chance there is. I refuse to buy cosmetics/beauty products that have been tested on animals and at least it makes me feel better about my life if nothing else.

I understand being against animal testing, but it's been key in developing new treatments for various types of cancer, HIV/AIDs, Parkinson's, diabetes and even heart disease. Boycotting make up and beauty products is easy, but there's a high likelihood you still benefit from products developed by animal testing.
