Re: Fuck you, Frank Cho

Okay, no, you know what?

I AM 100% IN FAVOR OF THESE DRAWINGS.

The objection to the Spider-Woman cover was never the pose. It's a spidery kinda pose that Spider-Man has been drawn in hundreds of times.

The objection was to the fact that she was apparently drawn covered in body paint instead of a costume, and her asscrack was emphasized well past the point of anatomical plausibility, to where the cover seemed to be mostly about the asscrack.

Mr. Cho's drawings commit neither of these sins. As usual, he's drawing idealized sexy women, but with a very grounded sense of anatomy and physics. His costumes look like costumes, and his asses, god bless them, look like asses, not creepy distorted eighth-grade sex doodles.

In other words, Frank Cho is showing how that same pose can be done RIGHT. Good for him.
