Conflating "all white people" with "Jews" is disingenuous at best. I'm sure you know perfectly well that Jewish people have been persecuted and subject to exile and slaughter for a couple of thousand years, whereas white people, as a group, have not.

Really, you can do better. I have faith in you.

AYRT is committed to the idea that, because anti-Semitism is a thing, Jewish people do not have any kind of privilege in any place or at any time. In fact, it is impossible for them to do so.

It's not the fact that you said that not all Jews are white. It's that you implied that any Jews are white.

Honey, she said all white people or Jews. OR. As in, "white people" and "Jews" are separate groups and one could hate one or the other.

Yes (aside from white Jews, obviously) and there are top commenters on Jezebel who hate either, or both. That's what I said like... right in the first comment. Your position is that it's not bigoted to say virulently hateful things about white people, but it is for Jews, because they've been oppressed as a group, but white people have not? Or are you saying that because they've been oppressed as a group, hating Jews qualifies as "racism," whereas hating white people as a group is only bigotry? Or did you think I was saying that these things are exactly the same in every context, as opposed to saying they are both something Jezebel commenters do which are tacitly accepted by the readership and mods in a way that wouldn't be acceptable there about any other group? (In which case, uh, well... L2read.)

I am legitimately confused here.
