Where I am, or at least in my profession, listing age/birthdate on a CV generally isn't done (and it looks weird when you do) but when I see a CV that leaves off graduation/degree completion dates, that immediately screams "I worry you'd think I'm too old." I really don't care about people's ages as long as they can physically do the work and won't get cranky and condescending about having younger co-workers or supervisors, so it irritates me when people get cagey about their age on a CV. It also makes the CV look incomplete and like you might be hiding other things and trying to make it harder to check if you really earned that degree or worked at that place.

Other professions may be different, so YMMV.

No, I think you misunderstood - I do put the graduation dates on. But the graduation dates without context would imply I'm younger than I am.
