Re: Body/skin wraps?

They don't work. Sorry to burst your bubble. It's just another expensive product designed to prey on your self-image.

Cellulite is largely genetic; it's just a method of fat deposition that some people have and others don't. If you are really concerned about the appearance of it and it hasn't gone away with appropriate weight loss, there are several newer methods of less invasive fat removal procedures on the market.

There might be clinics in your area offering summer deals, but apart from weight loss the only really effective method of modifying the appearance of cellulite is surgery.

nayrt

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to be able to modify it temporarily with those thigh creams that have caffeine in them--but that's temporary.

Yeah I've spoken to people who have tried that. It works to varying degrees on people (some have had no results at all, others minor improvements), but it's never a complete or permanent solution.

Caffeine is said to have an effect, but there's not much evidence to suggest that rubbing it on one's skin has any effect.

Nice try in shooting something down without even really knowing anything about it.

It does work, actually. It's not permanent, and for that I'm not for it, but it does work.

Calm your hateboner lol.

Yeah, not permanent means doesn't work in the language I'm speaking.

Well good for you and your language special snowflake, but in most languages "doesn't work" means never worked at all.

Doesn't work means it doesn't work. A temporary solution is, as I said, a waste of time and money. It also isn't 100% effective, so doesn't work is a pretty good way to describe that.

Feel free to ask the OP if she wants her cellulite to go away forever, or just go away for a short time and then come back. If she wants the former, then no, a temporary reprieve from cellulite means those treatments don't work.

Geez, do you sell bodywraps or something? Because you sound so authoritative in your refutation, providing bunches of evidence... oh wait.
