No, it's because people like you literally always barge into any conversation about any problem that women face, saying WELL EXCUSE ME BUT DID U KNOW THAT MEN ALSO HAVE PROBLEM

Like...fucking yes. We know men have problems.

In this case especially, it was completely unnecessary, because there literally is no social imperative for men to shave. They can if they like to. Maybe their friends give them shit about it. That sucks. But it isn't a 100% pervasive YOU MUST DO THIS OR BE SHUNNED BY SOCIETY.
