At least, buddy. Last time I did it, it took me four straight hours.

Most people can shave their armpits about once a week on average without it getting very hairy and can fit it into their showers versus having to set a big chunk of time aside.

No "at least" about it. It takes me about 20 minutes to dye my hair, so we could go with that as the minimum. I'm sure there's people with difficult hair, or who are doing more elaborate things, who are going to take longer.

Where's this most from? Most of the answers I saw poking around on Google indicate most women shave their armpits either daily, or every time they shower. I'm being generous in going with the time period you allotted to it (5 minutes) when a lot of people are very hairy and will need longer.

How long is your hair? What color? What type? What color were you dyeing it?

Almost anyone can dye their hair jet black in five minutes, so why not go with that as standard, assuming every single partner wants jet black hair? Let's just ignore that to go blonde it'd take some people hours.

I've dyed it when it was ass-length, I've dyed it when it chin-length. I've dyed it when it was black (to blonde) I've dyed it when it was blonde (to dark) I've dyed it when it was medium brown to dark and to light. It just doesn't take me that long. For one thing, if you keep the lighteners on too long, it can damage your hair and give you a crappy color.

What type?

Exceptionally thick and coarse, usually wavy or straight.

Which is why I went with an average (hour) instead of going your route, and insisting on using one of the most extreme ends of the spectrum as a measurement. By all means, if you want that, we can use 5 minutes for hair dye as the standard.

I don't think that the kind of person who's so disgusted by body hair that you have to remove it for the sake of your relationship would tolerate the stubble that most people would get if they only shaved once a week.

Even if it's daily, I still say five minutes a day in a shower you're already taking is different from being expected to set a big chunk aside. I'm not arguing about the pit hair thing, I have no stance on that. Only that hair dye and pit shaving can't be compared.
