But when did FS start disliking "thinspiration"? I know it was considered an okay term around here back in 2010, and I thought it got positive responses as recently as 2013.

Yeah, but that was before, when people were ignorant about the fact that it's basically been associated with pro-anorexia propaganda images since ...2000? Earlier? Hard to say.

No it wasn't. I'd NEVER seen it in that context and I even perused a few back then for morbid reasons.

I had a total of seven friends who were anorexic/bulimic/EDNOS during that time period.

I'm not one of the complainy ones from above, but I've only ever heard "thinspiration" in pro-ana stuff. The connotation is definitely there, and has been for years.

ISTR from the LJ days, when the SJW raiders were really ramping up, thinspo secrets were relegated to the fail!bar. Not sure on the dates, though, might have been...I don't know...2007-ish? '07 - '08, I think, based on what I can remember of the computer I was using, and my geographical location at the time.
