26. NO. Speaking as someone whose favorite fandoms are utterly obscure; I don't share that sentiment at all. If, for example, the Filip Collin books suddenly got an actual fanbase, no one would be happier than me! To actually have someone to discuss them with, or just fangirl them madly... it'd be so wonderful. And I couldn't care less if they didn't share my particular opinions/ships/whatever; everyone should be able to like whatever they want, and I certainly wouldn't think less of them if they didn't happen to share my particular fondness for Mr. Graham or whatever (it'd be sad if they couldn't respect me for mine though, but I still wouldn't attempt to hide them or anything). Not that I don't understand your general idea though, but yeah... I just can't agree.

31. I love them too! I'm really grateful to Don Rosa for fleshing out their relationship as much as he has.

45. This isn't really just directed towards you -- as it's something I've seen a lot of people doing, and this secret was just sorta the last straw -- but... WHY BOTHER SUBMITTING A SECRET IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE SO VAGUE THAT NO ONE KNOWS WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT?! Going "her 1" and "her 2" and so forth is just so damn pointless; nobody's gonna get what you're talking about, and thus won't be able to give you a decent response (whether it's a "I agree!" or a "Booo, you suck!"). I just don't get the damn point. Again, don't take this too personal -- I've seen plenty of secrets even more vague than yours.

It's one thing to just not like someone anymore, and another to "sabotage" your friendship just to get out of it. That's why s/he fails at friendship -- though I admit to finding her reasoning despicable as well -- because you should at least have the guts and common decency to sincerely break it off.

Sabotage can mean a number of things, though. In high school, when I didn't have the balls to completely break it off with a rapidly-becoming-obnoxious boyfriend, I just ceased to talk to him unless it was in person, effectively sabotaging our relationship.

Normally I don't engage you, but I'm going to take this one single comment to do so.

Hypocrisy is a basic part of modern human society. We all make mistakes every day. Sometimes we learn from them, and sometimes we disregard what we know and make them again anyway, especially in mediums we don't particularly care about and thus don't necessarily critically think through (see: hugewank (http://www.journalfen.net/community/fandom_wank/1124660.html)).

I am fully aware of my own inevitable hypocrisy. You might of your own be too, but I don't know jack shit about you (and don't care to) except that you enjoy using the word, "cunt", so lord knows.

45. I can't speak for anyone else, but as someone in that fandom, it's really obvious to me who they're refering to. (Though for the weirdest half-second I thought they meant Suzaku instead of Mao and that was one weird doubletake right there)

I find those secrets unpleasant sometimes, but as long as they're understandable to those in the fandom I like them. It's when I'm in the fandom and still baffled that I dislike them.
